L'Esprit Condominiums (MTCC905) consists of 409 residential units located in two interconnected structures and one historic building, which surround a common landscaped courtyard:
- 240 units in the 21-storey high-rise at 15 Maitland Place;
- 166 units in the 5-storey low-rise at 60 Homewood Avenue; and
- 3 units in one designated historic building (5 & 7 Maitland Place and 82 Homewood Avenue).
15 Maitland Place
15 Maitland Place is a 21-storey building containing 240 residential units. Its north side faces Maitland Place, and looks over Jarvis Collegiate Institute. Its south side overlooks a courtyard, a gazebo, and the south wing of the 60 Homewood building. This high-rise building is connected, through the underground B1 Level, to 60 Homewood Avenue.
60 Homewood Avenue
60 Homewood Avenue is an L-shaped low-rise building, containing ground-level townhouses and upper level suites, for a total of 166 units. The east wing of the L-shape runs parallel to Homewood Avenue, whereas the south wing runs perpendicular to it. Units in the east wing face either east toward Homewood Avenue, or west toward the inner courtyard. Units in the south wing face either north toward the inner courtyard, or south toward a neighbouring property. This low-rise building is connected to the 15 Maitland Place high-rise through the underground B1 Level.
The Historic House
The building on the corner of Maitland Place and Homewood Avenue is designated an historic site. The building contains three residential units.
